About ETS

ETS (Educational Testing Service) is a global nonprofit organization that develops, administers, and marks standardized tests for higher education, professional certification, and academic assessment worldwide. Best known for administering widely recognized examinations such as the GRE, TOEFL, and Praxis assessments, ETS also supplies test takers with official digital prep resources, practice exams, writing evaluation tools, and score reporting services. Registration and test prep tools are managed directly through personal online accounts on the ETS website. While ETS maintains standardized pricing across its test administrations and prep products, eligible candidates may qualify for financial assistance directly through official ETS fee reduction programs or institutional voucher sponsorships.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ETS offer coupon codes or discounts for test registrations?

ETS rarely issues public coupon codes or promotional discounts, maintaining fixed standard fees for exam registrations and prep tools. Test takers can check the current ETS listing on Price.com to see if any updated offers or savings options become available.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for ETS exams?

Test takers who cancel their exam registration at least four days before their scheduled test date are generally eligible for a 50% partial refund of the test fee. Cancellations made after this deadline, no-shows, and fees for late registration or prep materials are non-refundable.

Does ETS offer fee assistance or financial aid for exams?

Yes, ETS provides an official Fee Reduction Program for eligible test takers who demonstrate financial need or receive qualifying unemployment benefits. Approved applicants receive vouchers that significantly discount test fees and grant access to select prep materials.

How are ETS practice tests and study materials delivered?

Official ETS test prep materials, practice exams, and score reports are delivered digitally and accessed through the candidate's online ETS account immediately following purchase or registration.
