About CLEAR

CLEAR provides biometric identity verification services designed to streamline entry at participating domestic airports, sports stadiums, and entertainment venues. By using fingerprint and iris scans, CLEAR verifies a member's identity at dedicated kiosks, allowing travelers to move efficiently through airport security document checkpoints. The core subscription service, CLEAR Plus, is available as an annual membership, with options to add adult family members at discounted rates while children under 18 enter for free alongside an enrolled adult. Because CLEAR services are entirely digital and biometric, members activate their accounts online and complete enrollment at a CLEAR location without waiting for physical credentials to ship. Members can also take advantage of strategic partner perks, including frequent flyer program discounts and eligible credit card statement credits that offset membership costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there CLEAR coupon codes or promo codes currently available?

CLEAR rarely issues public promo codes or discount codes. Discounted rates are primarily available through permanent partner programs, including Delta SkyMiles and United MileagePlus memberships, as well as select credit cards that provide statement credits. Price.com does not currently list active coupons or promo codes for CLEAR.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for a CLEAR Plus membership?

CLEAR Plus memberships automatically renew each year, but auto-renewal can be canceled at any time through the online account dashboard or customer service. If you cancel within 14 days of being charged for a membership, you are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after 14 days stop future renewals at the end of the current billing term.

How does CLEAR function at airport security and event venues?

CLEAR uses eye and fingerprint recognition at dedicated airport and venue kiosks to confirm identity. Once verified by a CLEAR ambassador, members skip the traditional ID inspection line and proceed directly to physical security screening or venue entry.

Does CLEAR offer family plan discounts?

Yes, primary CLEAR Plus account holders can add adult family members to their account for an additional fee per person. Children under the age of 18 may accompany an enrolled adult through CLEAR lanes free of charge without needing their own account.
