About Thumbtack
Thumbtack is an online marketplace that connects consumers with local service professionals for projects spanning home improvement, house cleaning, moving, lawn care, and wellness services. The platform enables users to submit project requests, compare quotes from local pros, read customer reviews, and schedule appointments directly. Because independent contractors set their own rates on Thumbtack, pricing depends on specific project scopes and individual provider estimates. For added peace of mind, eligible jobs booked and paid through the platform are covered by customer protection policies, including monetary and property damage guarantees.
