About Sittercity
Sittercity is an online caregiving marketplace that connects families with local babysitters, full-time and part-time nannies, infant caregivers, and after-school helpers. Parents can create job posts, explore candidate profiles, read reviews, and run background checks to find suitable care for their children. Registration and job postings are free for families, while upgrading to a Premium Membership grants direct messaging capabilities and full candidate screening reports. Sittercity operates as a matching venue rather than an employment agency, meaning families negotiate hourly rates and pay caregivers directly. Shoppers looking to save on membership subscriptions can earn cashback through Price.com, with current rates available directly on the Price.com store listing.
